The Diplomat, The Artist, and the Suit
This project was for a Documentary film that delves into extraordinary work of acclaimed Australian architects Bill Corker, Barrie Marshall & John Denton. I essentially worked one two different VFX peices. The first involved creating a 3D rendering in Cinema 4D, of the Melbourne cityscape, highlighting signicant buildings designed by these architects. The second part, was to demonstrate the development of architectural sketches by Barrie Marshall, to the final house design of two buildings in particular. This was a achieved through motion tracking and compositing in After Effects. It was a particularly fun challenge to sketch line, scribble and annotations in a similiar way to Barrie Marshall and then find a way to track them on to the footage.
