Neko no Kage is a personal project exploring the blend between 2D and 3D animation.
It combines hand-drawn, frame-by-frame animation with 3D elements and compositing to create a stylised action sequence that feels both dynamic and tactile.
The piece was a chance to experiment with timing, lighting, and motion across different tools, bridging the expressive energy of traditional animation with the depth and flexibility of modern 3D workflows.
